A JUG OF WINE, A TABLE IN THE SUN
My work is rooted in the idea of sensory experience. It’s about being physically, emotionally, and spiritually present in a place or feeling. In A Jug of Wine, a Table in the Sun, I explore moments of joy in their simplest form: stretching into sunlight, a ripe pear, an afternoon in the shade, a tender conversation. In noting the softness of the everyday, I honor the sacred, subtle moments that often get overlooked, and the joy derived from experiencing them fully.
In sharing this work, I encourage a nurturing of the self and of the environment. And above all, a nurturing of the present moment.
Sit down, feel the warmth, take a sip.
